Breaking it Down
Whether you’re getting ready to wind things down after the season or getting ready for the summer months ahead, there’s a lot of things to keep in mind when it’s time to close or open your pool. At Suburban Services in Holmdel, NJ, we’ll gladly take on that responsibility for you with our closing-opening package, to make sure your pool is ready to go when you are!
Pool Closing
There’s nothing better than having a piece of mind as your pool is being closed for the summer. For our closing package, we will:
- Winterize your pool
- Add a winter chemical kit
- Blow out the lines
- Empty and winterize the filter
- Clean the grid assembly
- Prepare the pump and heater to prevent any frost damage
- Get the water levels lowered
- Remove the handrails and ladders
- Bring all other accessories into storage
Pool Openings
Towards mid or later spring, that’s when people generally start getting their pool ready for the season. With our pool opening package, we will do the following.:
- Remove the winter plugs
- Perform a pre-season check
- Reassemble the equipment
- Install drain plus into the equipment
- Test the equipment
- Prime the plumbing lines
- Install the handrails, ladder, and accessories.
Upon request, we can also install and remove the cover, vacuum the pool, test the water, and add additional chemicals.
